A Restoration Church 
We invite you to make the stop at Calvary Christian and see what God has in store for you. Precious Word-bound hymns are sung at each service, enveloped by praise and worship choruses that lift up Jesus. All fifth Sundays are given to fellowship meals and Sunday night Singspiration – hymns by request.
In my years as pastor of Calvary Christian Assembly of God, I have witnessed many lives changed by the power of God. I have prayed with concern about, and for, those who have stayed for a year, two years, or three, and then moved on. A shepherd's heart beats for the safety of the sheep. Recently, the Lord, spoke to my wife and me, that we need not regret these transitions; showing us that Calvary Christian is a Restoration Church—set here on the hill to reclaim the prodigal, revive the saints, and reestablish lives for the Kingdom of God. Some have come through for a season and gone on into reconciliation with God and family; others have found their way into ministry according to their gifts. Wherever others have physically moved to, they have found a congregation to love them and continue the nurturing that began at Calvary. And this is the plan of God. -Reverend Gerald Horne

Christians killed in Nigeria
At least 500 Christians — including women and children — were killed near the city of Jos, Nigeria, by Hausa-Fulani, an ethnic group, this past weekend.

Iran continues persecution of Christians -- AG pastor tortured
Wilson Issavi, the pastor of The Evangelical Church of Kermanshah (Assemblies of God) in Isfahan, Iran, was arrested by Iranian State Security in early February for converting Muslims. Issavi, who is still in prison, is reportedly in poor condition and shows obvious signs of torture.

The abortion industry relies on misinformation and incomplete information to direct women to choose to abort their baby. Many pregnancy centers (pro-life) across the nation offer free ultrasounds to help women know the truth about abortion. Organizations are taking further steps against abortion by sharing Christ's love and compassion with these women.

BGMC launches their new theme for 2010-2011, "Shake It Up — to change the world!" AG missionaries have written a theme song, BGMC have launched a new video, and many products were added to the BGMC catalog to celebrate the new theme.
